Amazon Q is a little different than ChatGPT, which is really available to everyone to answer all kinds of questions. On the other hand, Amazon Q is really aimed at businesses and organizations. People can ask questions about their work, the performance of the company, and the data in the organization. Amazon Q integrates with AWS S3, SalesForce, Slack, and other common business tools, while traditional AI solutions such as ChatGPT and Bard are not business-oriented. Q addresses specific business questions. Users can use Q to access particular data sources and set permissions within their team’s interaction. Q can be accessed with a browser-based application for easy communication and response retrieval. Amazon plans to incorporate Q into several services, which will enhance Amazon Connect by improving customer service functions.

We have lots of analytics and other statistics programmes and software in our company, but sometimes it’s hard to just ask, How many of these things did we sell in this quarter, and then how many did we sell in 2024 in the same quarter where there are a lot of similar things happening? It might take somebody a little while to find something even that simple. Well, this means being able to use a chatgpt-like interface where you write the question and get back results.
